I now understand the reviewers who received the chair damaged. I just watched in horror as the FedEx driver shoved each box off the high truck to bounce on the road. Incredibly they survived undamaged due to great packaging and luck. The chairs are wonderful. These are not big lounge size chairslook at the dimensions and compare to other furniture. I got what I expected. I am 51 and my back is supported while my feet are on the floor. My husband is 58 and he fits perfectly as well. The look takes accent chairs to a whole new level. The cognac has a cool worn vintage look like I wanted. So many furnishing are forgettable once you leave a home. I promise these chairs will be remembered by all who see them!

Just wow! Purchased this for a client remodel with a mid-century modernvintage auto enthusiast vibe. It works perfectly! Its a bit smaller in scale, but that worked well in the bay alcove replacing a bulkier pillow oversized chair. It came very well packaged and arrived promptly and without damage. Yes the leather was a bit dry, but o gather thats probably from sitting in ready to ship warehouses. A little wipe down with leather conditioner and its fine. After unpacking I thought it may be too small for my 59 200 lb male client but he sat in it and said it was nice and comfortable for him. As a petite stature woman, I like that my feet can touch the floor and and not feel swallowed up. Overall I love the look, comfort and functionality of this piece. This would also work well in an office, library, bar, or bedroom.
